Somalia’s security helps expansion of ties with Iran: Larijani

The massive presence of parliament delegations from Arab and Islamic countries in Tehran’s recent international conference on support for Palestine shows the depth of Israeli crimes and Palestinians’ oppression, said Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani on Sunday.

Meeting with Deputy Parliament Speaker of Somalia, Larijani said Somali is an important and strategic country in Africa adding its participation in the conference was positive and influential.

Saying Tehran-Mogadishu interactions are mounting he noted Iran’s Parliament is ready to share experiences with Somalia’s Parliament.

Larijani also emphasized establishment of security and peace in Somalia aids expansion of ties.

Mohamed Omar Dalha on his part said Palestine’s successful conference revealed Israel’s crimes and gained support for Gazans.

Dalha then called for Tehran’s participation in reconstruction and development projects of his country.

He then invited Larijani to pay a visit to Somalia.
