Differences between gov members and progovernment ICU in Beledweyne-Official

Aden Abdi Isse known as (Aden Garaso), the
mayor of Beledweyn town in Hiren region for the transitional
government of Somalia has said Monday that the differences between
members of the Somali government and pro government ICU in the region
was solved.

The Mayor told reporters that there had been misunderstanding between
both sides of the transitional federal government and the pro
government Islamic Courts Union in the Hiran region in central Somalia
adding that two sides achieved to solve their divergences.

The Mayor of Beledweyn town Adan Garase pointed out that there are
also efforts mediating the government and its opposition in Hiran
saying that the people in from same region.

Garaso’s statement comes as there had differences between the
government members and the pro government Islamic Courts Union in
Hiran region recently.
