Somalia: World forgets Somalia:

Editorials

It is almost about 19 years from now, ever since the former Somali central Government was ousted by a heavily armed USC rebel forces and other ethnic warring factions loyal to a number of Somali Warlords.

Everything which used to be a sign of the national unity was absolutely destroyed, many innocent people were killed including women and children while many others were handicapped by no means.

The national institutions of the country was looted, and something said to be a private interest became the first priority while the existence of our independency is also forgotten.

So far, the country had a big reputation prestige and honor among the world community that has got unforgettable memory remained in the minds of millions of people inside and around the Region.

The international community really ignored what is really going on in Somalia, many peace conferences were held in overseas but nothing came out as a result trough these conferences except the creation of other new eradication policy that isolated the rights of Somali people.

At the moment a number of foreign countries are accused of standing behind the current armed riots continuing in Mogadishu and no one of the international community condemns that, so where is the world and where are Somali citizens of this Country?
