Somali pleads not guilty to attempting armed robbery

A Somali resident in Marsa has pleaded not guilty to an attempted armed robbery in Gzira on March 18.

Idris Sayed Ali was also charged with holding a man against his will and being in possession of an unlicenced weapon.

He was granted bail but had to be remanded in custody as he was not in a position to pay the deposit.
