Somalis welcome SKA,s reconstruction plans of Mogadishu airport

Somali people have welcomed the reconstructing plans of SKA aiming to rebuild the international airport of Aden Ade in the Somali capital Mogadishu.

80 percent of the people in Mogadishu suggested that they would prefer the international airport of Mogadishu to be repaired; just as 20 percent of the people taking part the debate airing by Shabelle radio refused the activities of the foreign agency SKA.

Some of the people opposed the presence of the company said that rebuilding the airport was not bad, but the importance was to know many about the main goals of the company pointing out that SKA was like the other foreign companies interrupting the country.

An interview with David T, the deputy director of SKA said that they had signed 10 years contract with the transitional government of Somalia and would wait the from the Somali president Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed and Prime Minister Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo to explain more about SKA’s presence before the parliament.

The company’s acting director with other officials displayed instruments for the security in Mogadishu airport where many correspondents attended saying that they did not formally take over the control of the airport and would bring many others materials.

Nevertheless, the statement of the people in Mogadishu came as there had been dispute rising from the Somali parliament and population over the identification of the real members of TFG that signed the agreement with the foreign companies including SKA.
