Somali refugees continue to pour into Kenya

While the Somali government claims victory in Mogadishu against militants, the humanitarian crisis continues to grow in a huge refugee camp in Northern Kenya along its border with Somalia.

Every day Somalis stream to Dadaab camp in Kenya to escape famine. The camp continues to swell in numbers, and the sheer number of people is making life difficult.

There are some latrines and people are getting some level of help, but the big worry now is disease, and a cemetery on the outskirts of the camp are a testament to that.

The cemetery has become packed with dead bodies. Most of them are from children.

People try to protect the graves with whatever they can - bits of thorn trees - to keep wild animal that could get into the graves at bay.

More than two million children are in desperate need of help in the food crisis, and when they reach the camp they are tired, hungry and need food and water.

But most of them are not vaccinated and many of the people said they're not receiving vaccinations for things like measles.

The famine is far from over, and it is places like Dadaab, that are a testament to the crisis in the Horn of Africa.
