Eritrea ruler: We Remain Supportive Of Somali Resistance

In an interview with London's Channel 4 last month posted to the web on Thursday, 30 July 2009, Eritrea ruler, tyrant Isias Afewarki, reiterated that he 'remains supportive of Somali resistance in any form'.

Afewarki made the remark in response to the reporter's question: “The west accuse Eritrea giving weapons and financial support to Al Shabab. Is that true? Following seconds of hesitation, Afewarki replied: “Now look, I wish we had the resource, we had the ability to support Somali resistance in any way. ..as long as this conflict continues, we remain supportive of the resistance in Somalia in any form.” There you have it, in your face, ladies and gentlemen of the UN Security Council, US, and African Union. What now?
