Somali government sentences US citizens, Briton and kenyans in Mogadishu

The high court of Banadir region for the transitional government of Somalia has saturdaty sentenced 6 foriegners including US citzens, a Briton, and kenyans who illegally brought millions of dollars with two airlines to Mogadishu airport recently and capturd by the police forces of the government after having been in jail for the past weeks.

Hashi Elmi Nor, the chairperson of the court of Banadir told reporters that the court rulled all the six men including two American, a Briton and two kenyan. He said the Us citizens and the British man were sentenced to 15 years jail and $15,000 each while the Kenyan pilots and their assisstences sentenced 10 years prison each and $10,000

Mr. Hashi Nor said that the transitional government of Somalia would formally take over $3 millions and $600 dollar that the men carried with airplanes still remaining in Aden Adde International airport of Mogadishu.

The foreigners sentenced by the Banadidr region high court of the transitional government of Somalia in Mogadishu were captured by joint forces of the police and the National Security Agency forces of the TFG in 6th May as they were reportedly carryng three millions, three hundreds dollars to the Somali pirates helding more hijacjed vessels in the coasts of Somalia.
