Somalia: South African Gangs Storm Somali Owned Shops

Armed South African gangs launched a fatal attack on Somali owned business centers.

Mohamed Adam Osman, one of Somali businessmen in South Africa, told Shabelle Media Network South African gangs attacked and looted Somali shops in Polokwane, Limpopo in South Africa.

Osman says that they wounded one of the Somalis there and looted $ 1,400 and some goods in the shops.

The man said Somalis who have small businesses there face killing and looting of their properties by South Africans.

He called for the leadership of Somali interim federal government to act quickly to help those Somalis in South Africa.
