A local NGO which operates in Kenya has officially disclosed that there are some young Somali females, who are used for illegal commercial purposes within Kenya and some other places in the world.
The Executive director of Women kind NGO lady Hubbi Hussein Hajji, has confessed that the challenges which the Somali girls in Kenya are day-to-day deteriorating.
“There are some individuals in Kenya who make fake promises for the young Somali girls in Somalia, and as soon as they reach Nairobi, the only the charming ones are selected out of the lured cluster of young girls, and these individuals who have lured the Somali girls will keep for some days for their pleasure, and after having for days they will take them to places where there are people who purchase these young girls and in return the person who has brought the young girl will receive handful of money” said Hubbi the executive director of Woman Kind in Kenya.
Lady Hubbi says that the smuggling of the young girls is done by Somali individuals, and she pledge that her NGO will conduct awareness of this awful act.
Lady Hubbi has as well warned the Somali parents back home in Somali to be careful of sending their girls to Kenya, where girls are often trapped in the wrong net.
On the other hand the horrific story which Lady Hubbi has said is that there was an old man who was keeping a young girl in a certain hotel in North Eastern province in Kenya, but the girl was later salvaged by the clerics in the region.
Eventually Lady Hubbi says that she wants to carryout joint awareness with the clerics in North Eastern Province in Kenyan to curb the situation.
