They reiterate their call for the peaceful resolution of the Somali conflict as the only way to a durable peace and genuine reconciliation and call upon all parties that have not yet joined the political process to do so.

The members of the Security Council condemn in the strongest terms all attacks against AMISOM, including Wednesday’s attack in Mogadishu that caused the death of one peacekeeper and injured three others. The members of the Security Council express condolences to the Government and people of Uganda.
