Somali pirates release Greek vessel

Somali pirates have freed the Greek vessel "Eleni Pea." The vessel was seized May 12th southeast of the Omani city of Salalah.

The crew consists of 19 Filipinos, two Greek nationals and one Ukrainian.

All are reported alive and well.The news came in from a Nairobi-based organization "Ecoterra International, which monitors incidents of piracy in the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean.

There is no information regarding the amount of ransom paid. To date, Somali pirates still hold in captivity over 20 vessels and 400 sailors.
