Somalia arrest wanted man after his release from Kenya | Diplomat News Network

Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) announced today that its trained troops arrested Hassan Hanafi Haji head of terrorist cell designate by Al shabaab group to arrange assassination operations against Somali journalists and foreign workers In the country.
The spokesman of the ministry of national security of the Federal Government of Somalia Mohamed Yusuf Osman said Hassan Hanafi Haji has masterminded many assassinations and cold-blooded murder against famous Somali and foreign journalists including Mahad Ahmed Elmi, Ali Iman Sharma’arke, Sheikh Nur Mohamed Abkey, Said Tahlil, Muktar Mohamed Hirabe , Swedish Journalist Martin Adler and others.
The spokesman revealed that the wanted person Hassan Hanafi was arrested in the borderline between Somalia and Kenya three days ago (December 6) as he tries to hide from the eyes of the Somali intelligence.
Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency has said it will carry out more investigations on Hanafi before transferred to judiciary to face justice.

Security sources reported that the Kenyan government released Hassan Hanafi from a prison in Nairobi after he was arrested by Kenyan intelligence with full coordination from Somali intelligence in Eastleigh neighborhood in Nairobi on the ninth of August 2014 .
Somali government has asked Kenyan government to hand over Hassan Haji which accused issues relating to murder, terror and intimidation, but Kenya ignored the request of Somalia and freed him.
