With the addition of Somalia and Djibouti, the institute now comprises 19 member countries.

Djibouti's Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Ali said his country hopes to take advantage of the economic experience of the institute's member states.
Joint action and co-operation is one of the Arab Planning Institute's main goals, said institute director Bader al-Malallah.
