The British government on Thursday urged to Somali transitional federal government to take action against Somali insurgents who control large swathes in south-central Somalia.
Stephen O'Bririen, UK's DFID minister for the Department for International Development who is currently visiting Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya has Thursday said in an interview with Shabelle Media Network said that the beleaguered government is needed to make huge changes to succeed to bring peace back to conflict ridden Somalia.
Mr. O'Bririen also called for TFG to stand quickly to help Somali people who strongly affected by the drought struck many region in the nation.
He expressed a deep anxiety about what he called the terrorists in Somalia and pirates who are extensively growing in the Indian Ocean and Gulf of Aden and bedeviled the international shipping lines around off Somalia waters.
