The World Health Organization and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria have teamed up with the Somali National Olympic Committee to launch a new anti-TB campaign in Mogadishu.
Here’s a link to a story on the effort by the African Press Agency, which says the campaign will consist of “a walk through the streets of Mogadishu, a concert by Somali musical Band Iftin and games of basketball, handball and volleyball to raise awareness of the killer disease.”
