Operations still continue in Eastleigh, Somalis populated neighborhood in Nairobi

More of the police forces of the Kenyan government started operations searching those who were the mastermind of blasts caused casualties happened in the very populated neighborhood of Somalis, Eastleigh in Nairobi, Kenya, witnesses said on Saturday.

An explosive device hurled into a police van in a Somali suburb of the Kenyan capital on Friday killed one officer in what a police commander said appeared to be a terrorist attack.

More of the businessmen and residents of the Somalis Eastleigh had expressed concern over the operations of the police forces and had the fears to pick up by the police forces during their search activities in the town.

Newspapers in Nairobi wrote that yesterdays’ blast happened in a vehicle traveling through Eastleigh neighborhood while other sources said that the armed gunmen had hurled grenades to vehicles in the traveling there.

There are more young Somalis fled from the wars and droughts in Somalia and reached many different towns in Kenya mainly the refugee camps.

It is unclear whether the polices forces captured people for the blasts so far and the latest reports from Kenya indicate that the search operations still continue.
