Somali Kids Experience Ice Skating for the First Time

An amateur hockey team is teaching them the ropes.

The Portland Winterhawks Amateur Hockey Association is trying to reach out to a new crop of kids and Tuesday, about 20 Somali children were strapping on skates for the first time. Most of the children moved to Portland a few years ago. The children said the ice was cold and skating on it was "scary" but they'd do it again if they were given the opportunity.
