Unidentified gunmen killed two presidential security officers in Mogadishu's Karan district Sunday (April 13th), Somalia's Shabelle Media Network reported.
The attackers shot Colonel Ahmed Sheikh Abdulle, killing him immediately, and Abdirahman Ali Abdi "Garweyne", who died on the way to the hospital.
The attack occurred outside Lafweyn Hotel, where the two were residing, Somalia's Dalsan Radio reported. Both were members of the security forces charged with protecting Villa Somalia.
The gunmen escaped from the area immediately after the attack.
Karan district police have since apprehended two suspects and are questioning them on the attack, District Commissioner Ahmed Hassan Yalahow told Voice of America Somali service.
