At least 10 dead bodies have separately been found in the neighborhoods of Hadan and Hawl-wadag districts in the Somali capital Mogadishu, residents told Shabelle radio on Thursday.
Residents said that they saw more than 10 dead bodies in the neighborhoods of 5-ta Ged and Sigale in Hodan and Hawl-wadag districts in the capital which fighting with shelling continued on Wednesday afternoon
5 of the dead bodies were one entire family and their bodies were found by a woman who was the neighbor of the deceased family as she sought a fire to their house.
More people had gathered to the house collecting the bodies and pieces of smashed bodies from 5-ta Ged neighborhood in Hawl-wadag district as a mortar shell landed in their house in yesterdays' fighting.
Residents told Shabelle radio that they also found another 6 dead bodies in Sigale neighborhood in Hadan district where reports say that AMISOM troops bombed there in yesterday's fighting in Mogadishu.
A resident woman contacted to Shabelle media Network and told reporters that she was one of group residents who took part helping and collecting several dead bodies and other injured people in Sigale neighborhood in Hodan district where heavy fighting with shelling continued yesterday.
The death toll of yesterday's fighting was estimated more than 60 while about 112 others were injured and reports say that all those people were civilians who were trying to escape from the fighting which both sides were using heavy gunfire.
