Somalia - Somali pirates state two more vessels, including Ukrainian, seized

Somali pirates on Saturday seized two more vessels, including a Ukrainian one. One of the sea bandits' leaders said this by telephone to the France Press agency in Mogadishu. The report came from Haradheere in central Somalia where the pirates' base is located.

"Our people seized two vessels today," reported the man who said his name was Khasan. One of the vessels carried vehicles, and aboard the other were goods for Somali merchants. The first belongs to Ukraine. The vessel was on the way from Brazil to Iran, the man said.
