Islamic radicals destroyed 50-year-old graves Tuesday in the southern Somali village of Kamsuma.
Many residents of the village watched as an unknown number graves were crushed, Shabelle Media Network reported.
The Islamic administration in Kismayu, a port town 90 kilometers (56 miles) west of Kamsuma, said the graves' structure did not comply with Islamic religious law.
Hundreds of other graves had recently been crushed in Kismayu.
